Ideogram Partner.
The rich one.

$2.2M+ in opportunities have moved through this network and its partners have been hired 300 times - more money and more hiring than Kittl, Anything and Base44 put together. Ideogram's edge is legible text inside generated images, which is a typographer's problem, which is your problem.

What Ideogram actually asks for

Note the structure - three named skills you must demonstrate, then a choice of two ways to prove volume. Most people miss that it's an either/or.

✓Complete Contra profile - 4+ projects, name, photo, links, location, bio, walletAll satisfied.
×Has an Ideogram accountNo paid plan named anywhere in the brief.
×Demonstrates skills in text rendering, stylization, and prompt remixingAll three named explicitly. Your set has to visibly show each one.
×At least one of: 10+ unique published generations showing a range of creative use cases  or  proof of Ideogram images used in client projects, content or campaignsDo both. It costs you one extra paragraph and removes any doubt.
×Bonus - active community member via Ideogram Discord, community challenges, or public tips/tutorialsExplicitly labelled a bonus. Cheap to earn, so earn it.

The 11-image set

Day 1 · ~4 hrs

Ideogram named three skills. Build one set that proves all three at once and clears the 10+ bar in the same pass. Nine pieces cover text rendering and range; the last two exist purely to make stylization and remixing impossible to miss.

The mistake almost everyone makes

They post ten pretty pictures. Ten pretty pictures prove you can type a prompt.

A reviewer at a text-rendering company is looking at one thing: does the text in your images survive at full size, with correct kerning, on a curve, in a real layout? Generate words a designer would have to set by hand.

  1. Create your Ideogram account

ideogram.ai, same email as Contra. Generations published to your public Ideogram profile are what "published 10+ unique generations" means - keep them public, not private.

  2. Six pieces that hammer text rendering

    • Landing page hero poster - a real headline, set large, legible at 100%.
    • Paid social ad - product, a price badge, and a CTA button with readable words in it.
    • Supplement label mockup - product name, dosage, ingredient list. Small text is the hard test.
    • Magazine cover - masthead plus four or five cover lines at different weights.
    • Storefront signage - text on a physical surface, at an angle, with real lighting.
    • Sticker sheet - eight small phrases, each one clean, curved text on at least two.

Between them these cover flat, curved, small, large, on-object and in-layout text. That's a range argument, not a taste argument.

  3. Three pieces that prove stylization

Same subject, same headline, three genuinely different visual systems - say editorial Swiss, 90s risograph, and glossy 3D render. Post them as a trio so the comparison is the point.

Why it works: holding the content constant and varying only the style is how you show control instead of luck.

  4. Two pieces that prove prompt remixing

Take one generation and remix it forward twice, keeping the composition while changing the brand entirely - colourway, typeface feel, product. Caption the chain so the lineage is visible: original → remix 1 → remix 2.

This is the requirement people skip, because it only reads as a skill if you show the chain. A finished image alone can't prove it.

  5. Satisfy the second option too - real client usage

The brief says "at least one of," so the 11 generations alone qualify you. Doing both is a free upgrade.

Use an Ideogram image inside an actual landing page - a hero, a section background, a feature illustration - ship it, and link the live page in your application. You have shipped pages you can point at. One line in the pitch closes this out.

  6. Take the bonus - it's the cheapest mark available

Ideogram lists community activity as an explicit bonus. Two moves, one afternoon:

    • Join the Ideogram Discord, post your stylization trio, answer two other people's questions.
    • Publish one public tips post - "5 prompt patterns that get clean text out of Ideogram" - on Contra and X. Concrete patterns, not vibes. This is also the thing a reviewer can find by searching your name.
  7. Add their two tags to your Contra profile

The listing is tagged Graphic Designer and Ideogram. Add both under skills and tools. Also add your Ideogram profile as a social link - Kittl and Rive both demand the equivalent and it reads as native everywhere.

  8. Publish one Contra case study

Cover image is the stylization trio or the sticker sheet - whichever holds up best at thumbnail size. Contra's curation spec: centered, high-resolution, 1600 × 1200, multiple images inside, your role stated, live link included. Tag it Ideogram.

Write the pitch and send it

The draft answers all three named skills by name, then closes both halves of the either/or. Fill the slots above, then drop them in.

  1. Submit

Open the application → Apply to be an expert → paste → attach the case study → Submit.

  2. Wait two weeks

Bi-weekly review, email only if selected. Keep posting Ideogram work in the meantime - the community bonus keeps accruing while you wait, and a borderline application gets tipped by what you shipped after sending it.
