See the carbon cost before you buy.

GreenPath reads any product page and scores it A to F in 40 milliseconds. Then it finds a cleaner version at the same price. You keep shopping. The footprint shrinks.

No. 01 / The problem

Every "eco" label is marketing until someone checks.

You want to buy better. The shelf gives you vibes, badges, and leaves on packaging. None of it is data.

53%

Claims that don't hold

An EU Commission sweep found 53% of green claims online were vague, misleading, or unfounded. The label is doing sales, not science.

40 min

Research nobody does

Checking one product properly means lifecycle studies, materials sheets, and freight data. Nobody is doing that for a $12 phone case.

62%

Guesses aim wrong

Shoppers obsess over shipping, which is about 12% of a typical product's footprint. Materials are 62%. Good intentions, wrong target.

No. 02 / How scoring works

Three steps. 40 milliseconds.

No quiz, no manual input, no browsing slowdown. The score is on the page before you scroll to the reviews.

Step 1

We read the page

Materials, weight, brand, origin, and shipping options, pulled straight from the product listing you're already looking at.

Step 2

We match the records

The listing is matched against 4.2 million lifecycle records built from EPA data, ecoinvent, and peer-reviewed LCA studies.

Step 3

You get a grade

A to F on the page, plus up to three cleaner swaps within 5% of your price. Swap or ignore. Your call, now an informed one.

No. 03 / The alternatives

You have three options. Two are bad.

No. 04 / What changes

Same cart. Lighter footprint.

Cut a third, change nothing

Average user cuts 31% of purchase emissions in 90 days just by taking the swaps that cost the same or less.

No green premium

Swaps are matched within 5% of the price you were about to pay. In the demo above, the A-grade option is $5 cheaper.

Your year, on one page

Monthly totals, avoided kilograms, and your worst category, tracked automatically. This is the dashboard for July: 780 kg avoided so far, mostly from two furniture swaps in March.

The shopper tier is free. Forever. Actually.

Businesses pay for audits and API access. That funds the extension, so you never will.

People check. It holds.

I assumed my sneakers were the problem. GreenPath showed me it was express shipping and fast-fashion basics. Cut 780 kg in six months without buying anything I didn't already want.

We passed the audit, put the badge on our product pages, and conversion rose 12%. Skeptical customers finally had a reason to believe the word "recycled" on our boxes.

Marcus C · Founder, Birchware

The lifecycle numbers line up with the datasets we use in actual research. For a free consumer extension, that is genuinely rare. I checked, twice.

No. 07 / Questions

Straight answers.

How accurate are the scores?
Scores come from 4.2 million lifecycle records built on EPA datasets, ecoinvent, and peer-reviewed LCA studies, covering materials, manufacturing, freight, and packaging. When a listing is missing data, we score conservatively and mark the estimate on the panel instead of pretending.
Will it slow down my browsing?
No. The panel renders in about 40 milliseconds after the page loads, and scoring runs on our servers, not your machine. If a store is unsupported, the extension stays dormant and touches nothing.
Which stores does it work on?
50,000+ stores: Amazon, Walmart, Target, plus most Shopify and WooCommerce shops. If your store is missing, request it from the panel. Requests with 50+ votes get added within a month.
How does the free tier stay free?
Businesses pay for audits, certification badges, and API access. That revenue funds the shopper extension. We never sell browsing data and we never inject ads. If that ever changes, you should uninstall us, and we say so in the terms.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, on mobile Safari and Chrome via extensions. A dedicated app with barcode scanning ships in Q1 2027.
What does the business audit involve?
A supply-chain review against the same lifecycle database that powers scores: materials sourcing, factory energy, freight, and packaging. It takes 2 to 3 weeks. Pass and your products carry the badge. Fail and you get the gap list, no badge, no refund games: the audit fee converts to credit for a re-audit.
