Remote-first from India · Four markets · Since 2017
Clients feel it, the numbers back it, and somewhere between the pitch and the website it stops showing. We are a small senior design studio, and closing that gap has been our whole job since 2017.

The work
Client names are changed, the lessons are real. Ask about any of these and we will happily walk you through the full story, numbers included.
A 40-year builder whose brand read like a side project. The new identity settled the room before the sales team said a word.
A lending platform that needed three meetings to explain itself, now understood in one scroll. Demo requests roughly doubled in a quarter.
Trials kept stalling on day three, so we rebuilt onboarding around that exact moment. Drop-off fell by a third.
A founder who mixed her first batch at home. The packaging now holds its own beside brands with fifty times her budget.
An opening campaign for a beach property. Launch week sold out before the signage went up.
An annual report the chairman read twice, then ordered five hundred extra copies for the AGM.
31 industries so far, from lending to lipstick. Odds are we have already seen a version of your problem, and we are happy to tell you what worked.
How we work
One thing before the story. If your last redesign did not move the numbers, it was probably briefed as decoration, and that happens to most good teams, because that is how the industry teaches everyone to brief. A better brief starts with the number that has to move. Here is how that went for one client.
At first, Northstar asked us for a homepage refresh. The platform was moving serious money every quarter, the site looked like a weekend build from 2019, and prospects who loved the pitch would go quiet after visiting it. The founders assumed the fix was visual. A fair assumption, and a very common one.
There was one catch though. On sales calls, the three founders described the product three different ways, and the website tried to carry all three at once. So before we touched a single screen, we read call transcripts and wrote one plain sentence a first-time visitor could repeat to a colleague. Agreeing on that sentence took two weeks, and it became the brief.
Fortunately, everything after the sentence moved quickly. The first creative direction landed in ten working days, the site went live in week seven, and demo requests roughly doubled over the next quarter. The sales team stopped apologising for the website. Two and a half years later, Northstar still holds a Tuesday slot on our calendar.
If part of this sounds like your Tuesday, tell us what is on the roadmap.
What we do
Most engagements start in one practice and grow into two or three. The same people carry your brand across all of them, which is why it stays coherent from deck to shelf.
Positioning, naming, identity systems and guidelines that survive contact with real life, from the pitch deck to the shop floor.
Sites that explain the offer in one scroll, load fast, and hold up when an investor opens them ten minutes before your Thursday call.
Onboarding, dashboards and flows shaped around the exact moment a trial user starts to drift.
Structure, labels and unboxing that make a young brand feel established the moment it lands in hand.
Launches, campaigns and sales collateral that carry one clear message instead of five competing ones.
Board decks, annual reports and proposals that keep making your case after you have left the room.
The way we run things
We keep the machinery light. One senior contact, a weekly rhythm, and decisions made against numbers we agreed on in week one. In fact, clients often tell us the engagement felt calmer than their internal projects, which we take as high praise.
Step 1
One long conversation, plus your analytics, your last three proposals and a few sales recordings if you have them. We want to understand the business before we form an opinion about its looks.
Step 2
Together we write the one sentence the work has to prove, and pick the numbers that will tell us it worked. You sign off before any design begins.
Step 3
Within ten working days you review a real creative direction, actual pages with actual words, so the decision in front of you is concrete rather than theoretical.
Step 4
Design and development move in weekly rounds with one senior point of contact. Your feedback lands in work you can react to the following week.
Step 5
We hand over tidy files, walk your team through everything, and remain a call away. The average partnership here runs 2.6 years, and that is the number we are proudest of.
Most of our clients arrive through a referral and stay for years. We think that is the best number a studio can earn. Here are a few more.
Before you write in
After one call, you receive a written scope with a fixed fee and a timeline, so you are never guessing. Single-practice projects sit at the lower end, full rebrands at the upper. If a smaller engagement would serve you better, we will say so on that first call, because a right-sized project is the one that gets referred.
We usually begin within two weeks of a signed scope, and the first creative direction lands within ten working days of kickoff. If you are working against a launch or a raise, tell us early. We will be straight about what is possible in the time you have.
We hear this on most first calls, and it is rarely the team's fault. A redesign briefed as decoration leaves the numbers where they were. We start from the commercial question, write the brief around it, and show you a direction you can judge against real pages and real words, so you will know early whether it is working.
It has worked since 2017. Around half our clients sit in Dubai, London or on the American east coast. We hold a four-hour overlap with your working day for calls and reviews, and everything else moves asynchronously, with short recorded walkthroughs you can watch over your morning coffee.
Say hello
A launch, a raise, a rebrand you keep postponing. Two honest lines are plenty, and there is nothing to prepare. A senior partner reads every note and replies with a straight read on how we can help, even when the answer is that you do not need a studio yet.
Scopes are fixed fee, and an NDA is never a problem.
Prefer plain email? Write to hello@pdr.studio
A senior partner will read your note and reply within two working days. If it is urgent, write to hello@pdr.studio with “quick one” in the subject line and we will move faster.
